Dear Family,
I am pleased to announce that the planning for this year’s
family picnic is on schedule. This year, like last year, we were able to obtain
the pavilion at Indian Wells, and members of the planning committee have begun
to accept food and activity suggestions.
Information on Indian Wells State Park can be found here. Note there is a nominal fee for parking.
This year our cousin Dawn Williams has again agreed to be
the activities and donations coordinator and can be reached at the email
address you received either by U.S. mail or my email. Anyone interested in
providing games and/or assisting with the smaller children, your help would be
welcome. Each year we want to do something to interest the younger folks, so
they can have a good time also. (Balloon pop, three legged race, etc.)Any ideas
are welcome.
Anyone interested in preparing side dishes or supplying
needed items, (ie., ice, drinks, condiments, charcoal, serving trays) please
coordinate with Cousin Dawn as she will maintain a listing for our gathering.
(A list of the items we are seeking can be found below).
Cousin Diane Peterson is our banking chairperson, and will
receive all monies sent in by family. The "suggested" fair-share for
2012 registration is $30.00 per family unit because this year we will again
provide hamburgers and beef hot dogs for all who attend. Many of the items
needed last year were supplied by the reunion planning members out of pocket.
With everyone helping who can, we will be able assist all family to enjoy this

What we need from
you!
1. Please contact Dawn, Diane, or me with a head count of
who we can expect to attend this year. Please respond by July 18th so we can
purchase food items in the correct amounts.
2. Coordinate with Dawn on activities, suggestions, and
needed supplies.
3. Get the word out to your folks, cross check that everyone
“you know” has the word!
4. Drop your check in the mail to cover costs, as soon as
you can! We need your help and know you will be blessed with another great
Robinson Reunion.
